PeaceGod.org is based on the premise that underlying the diverse practices and beliefs of the world religions and spiritualities are either of two fundamentally different perspectives for viewing the one God, Creator of all:
- The unchanging God of Eternal Return, the Divine Ground and Cosmic Oneness or
- The changing God of Providence engaged in the historical providence of restoring the lost ideal
A further premise is that an elaboration of Father Moon’s teaching brings out the understanding that these two fundamentally different views of God are in fact both correct, that the one God embodies both of these aspects, which have been viewed as distinct only because of the fundamental corruption of human identity and perception.
The era after the coming of heaven is the time when these two understandings and all those believing either of them can become one.
